I love Football Manager 2001, and when I had bought the F.A Premeier League Manager 2002 I was very exetied.

The game was could bee great but it has to many bugs!

I hope someone of you can help me.

I have Geforce2 MX, with the 12.41 detonator driver and Directx 8a installed on my machine.

The problem is

1. The graphics screen is opening slow and closing slow, when I coose the Software driver the graphics screen is okay when opening but slow back again.

2. When one season playen; crash, bang, click and back to the desktop again.

I have installed the no-cd patch on Gamecopyworld but it dosent fix the problems.

What can I do?

I get that desktop problem aswell,except it happens every now and then when I click on next match.

I had exactly the same problem as you the first time i played this game. After i upgraded video drivers, everything's ok, as you are using Geforce 2 video adaptor, i suggest you installed the lastest driver, see whether it will work. Good luck.

Try dropping the resolution on your desktop to 800 600 (this is what EA suggests. I have the "drop to the desktop" problem also, it seem to always happen when I select view 3D match or highlights and only after I have just saved the game.

Its starting to anoy me because this is the only game that crashes for me.
