1. My parents let me drink, at most suppers we have wine/lager.

2. In the UK you can drink on private property legally above the age of 12. (I think thats the age give or take 2 years).

Yeah, be sure to live near the Canadian Border, it's 19 up there, and I'm pretty sure they don't care much in Mexico.

I agree that our attitude towards drinking sucks, but then I'm underage so of course I'm going to think that. The worst part of it is that I'll be 19 in a few months, living on my own, and yet I still have to sneak around to house parties, instead of taking a tour of the local bars. Of course there is the option of the Fake ID, which people say is a lifesaver. As long as you have some ID that says you're 21 people don't care. Or even care if you don't have one. I heard this story of a guy who gives the bouncer his ID, and the paper falls out of the lamination! The bouncer just gives him back the piece of plastic and lets him in the bar.

**** that man, i live in nyc and when i come in the summer to romania i go to the store downstairs and buy gallons of beer and whiskey. they sell alchool to kids all ages and cigarettes.you can walk into any club and have as much fun as you can. this week i went to a club daily and got wasted 3 times and about three weeks ago i got high (but that's not legal here :D.....yet) and i'm only 15 !

I always have a glass of wine or beer with my dinner, and my friends think I'm crazy or something.... In Europe, alcohol was just like soda for me.... same with all the night clubs and strip joints. Here in Pennsylvania, you get in trobule if you're caught with unopened alcohol in the back seat of your car.

I don't think that's true about unopened alcohol, but for open alcohol, that has to do with drunk driving laws, not general drinking laws.

Oh ok. Being from Wisconsin, the state with the most bars per person, I'm not familiar with those laws. We don't have em. And we were probably one of the last 5 states to raise the drinking age to 21. actually far from it (the prefect friend of mine was missing in that photo) we were never geeks..... The problem was our school was tired up in a $50 hire suit store so everything we could hire was cheap and which also meant poor quality
