As you may have read over at FIFA 99 Online, I'm working on a 1988/89 season patch, which will include all teams I can find from the 88/89 season. So far I've made a total of 65 club teams and 12 national teams including the following teams:

All English 1st Division teams
All teams in the German Bundesliga
8 Italian Serie A teams
5 Dutch Eredivisie teams
From Spain: Barcelona and Real Madrid
From France: Paris SG and Olympique Marseille
From Scotland: Rangers and Dundee United
Rest of Europe: Glentoran

Furthermore, all teams in the Swedish Allsvenskan will be included (so far I've made 6 out of 12 teams).

Among the national teams I've made all 8 teams that took part in the 1988 European Championships plus Argentina, Brazil, Sweden and Scotland.

With this patch you will be able to play with or against several of the game's all-time greats such as Diego Maradona, Marco van Basten, Ruud Gullit, Frank Rijkaard, Andreas Brehme, Franco Baresi... I could go on for weeks! ;)

I haven't set a release date for the patch, but after I've finished the Swedish teams I'll be working on the finishing touches, so you can expect to see the patch at the downloads centre in July... I can't tell you more exactly as I don't know...
