Nite all (I know, I was supposed to log off and study before but I was replying to some lunatic in another thread, which then suddenly appeared here and the.....ah, screw it) :D

Yes ISS is taboo for some people. They can't stand the fact that this is a game with more realistic gameplay cos they are fifa diehards. if FIFA had better gameplay then ISS (this would be a miracle frankly) but I would definetly switch over. It's a combination of pride, jealousy and some people just don't know real soccer when they see it/hear it.

My take is similar to V9's, some people won't change. so I'll keep enjoying the game I love to play while they can keep the game they play. Doesn't phase me, frankly it is their loss.

I thougth I did a service by calling on my ISS brothers to stop bashing Fifa. But I guess the mods didn't think so. Like I said in an earlier post, Fifa's fans has an inferiority complex. They hate it when we compare ISS to Fifa. They know the truth. ISS is better. But let them enjoyed their amazing 1-2 pass, lob pass and amazing new curve pass. Fifa2002 has improved but it still can't be compare to ISS PE in terms of gameplay. It is still pinball in world class mode. Boys will grow up and play a real footie: ISS. My $.02

Yup they do. They get pissed off if you say something like only 5 stadiums are the ball sticks to the players legs. If they were so happy with their game, they wouldn't be so defensive.

I dont actually think people are that bothered about the ISS comparison per se, its more they dont like FIFA being "bagged" at all.

I have made many attempts to explain how FIFA could be better, without any reference to ISS and you still get abuse...
