ok i know it may not be the "world class" soccer you see in europe, but i know costa rica has grown a lot in soccer terms, it actually leads lonely the concacaf qualification, being already into Japan/Korea with only one loss and important wins such as in Mexico City, it had good paper in Copa America and is number 29 of Fifa World Ranking (and still ascending).
Please tell me what do you think of costa rica's national team, and its players such as: Gilberto Martinez (great interceptions, flawless slides), Wilmer Lopez (really accurate long passes and plays creator), Rolando Fonseca (flawless free kicks, one of best scorers of the world, good shots) Paulo Wanchope (speed, dribbling, intelligent plays) and many more.

I believe it! Costa Rica is a team to be reckoned with. They complicate things for their opponent's defense. I am sure that they will have a significant role in the WC. They handed Mexico their first home loss in over 30 some years!!!!:eek: Playing at Costa Rica is no easy task, and I can guarantee they can take on any team in Europe at home and complicate them. Costa Rica has my respect!:cool:

Paolo Wanchope is real class and so is that Fonseca guy. Don't remember many names but I watched them at the Copa America (on TV ofcourse) and they were great!!!!
