After playing the fifa demo that is?
I haven't really had anything to compare ISSPE2 to for about 12 months and after playing it solidly I had developed a patterns and bad habits while playing, I actually thought I was getting bored of ISS. :)
After a couple of days punishing myself with the fifa demo, I figured there must be some redeeming points(if you find them give me a yell..), I played ISS again......and it was like playing it for the first time again.
Where before I was yelling at my players for loosing the ball I instead went back to the basics of football. Play the way you're facing, draw a man in then pass, find the free man(even if its your keeper, which is risky in the demo) etc.
Though all the above is possible in FIFA there's no point in doing it...the AI players don't bother moving, and anyone else think the all new fantastic button that make the players run off the ball is a complete cop out, this is the AI's job. By the time you've told the player to move, if you can get the little red dot on the right person that is, its too late..
Anyway try having a game of the demo then straight after start up epsxe, or psx, and see how crisp its animations are, what a through ball is, be able to realise which player has the ball, be confident that Sol CAmpbell is going to beat scholes in the air 95% of the time.
