Just like to know how you guys use the second defensive press button (the square-button) to assist you to steel the ball back.
Sofar I used it as soon as my opponent gets possesion, but the problem about that, is that my defenders often leave their position. So other cpu-players are unmarked.
I am sure those fanatic gamers overhere found a good way to overcome this problem..... or not? :)

There are two times to use it best (IMHO). When the opponent is receiving the ball with his back to goal, immediately the pass to him is made then use the attacking press, your defenders will close on him quickly and they will either, steal the ball, foul him or the player will not be able to turn and have to pass back. The other time is when the player is coming at your defence. I think this is the situation you are talking about. If you use the defenders in the backline, then people would be out of place and the CPU can hit it to the wings for open space. What you do (this is the reason i say manual control) is select a midfielder in back of the attacker and use the attacking press there, what happens is the midfielder attacks with someone from the back and then the 1 CB close in from the front and you sandwitch the player. A lot of times, my CM's (Cocu and Davids) come back and run the ball off whoever is carrying it. :)
Yes, I ment the second situation, when a attacker runs at my defence. That's probably what I did wrong. I already started the attacking press when he was about at the middle of the pitch! What I understand you say, is that you use attacking press when he's between the defensive midfielders and the defence, so about 20 meter later.... This explains why my defense is out of position, by pressing too early...right?
Oh yes, manual control... have to switch that...
You talked about an attacker hitting it to the wings for open space. The way I played it, I already found out that playing 3-5-2 was kind-of suicide, because that was exactly what happened and he scored a lot from crosses. Maybe I can play 3-5-2 when I controll this attacking press better.
Thanks again for helping me out! In return I will be a fanatic supporter for Nigeria during the World Cup. :)
Not really a sacrifice, because I like the way they play :)
