UEFA have recently announced the shortlist of possible venues for the 2003 Champs league Final. They also announced the shortlist for the UEFA Cup.

Anyway thi is the shortlist for the 203 CL Final

1. Old Trafford
2. Stade Francais
3. Gelsenkirchen
4. Hamburg
5. Stuttgart
6. Rotterdam
7. Amsterdam
8. Moscow
9. Madrid

I think Madrid should get it. Cna't stand Old Trafford hosting it, or the Germans either. And didn't Stade Francais host the final in 2000, why should get it again so soon afterwards.

I voted for Amsterdam but Madrid would be cool with it being their centenary... Schalke's stadium would also be a good venue.

i've been to most of those venues following Hearts,Scotland or just being on holiday so my honest opinion
Old Trafford:nah, can't see that happening, been to that and got Fergie's autograph, but that's a different story,
Stade de France:was there for Scotland-Brazil,magnificent arena, also i made some ''friends'' with the female brazilian fans
;)
Stuttgart(Gotteib-Daimler):actually got there on UEFA cup duty with Hearts,Christ, how far away is the stand from the pitch??
one of my great travels for the almighty Hearts:D

Rotterdam(de Kuip) I was there in the winter and the fans were throwing snowballs at the linesman!! needless to say I joined in and hit him on the back of the head!:p

Bernebau: my tip to get it,huge huge huge stadium and not 10000 miles away fro pitch(unless you are really high up)

Amsterdam ArenA: don't think the pitch would be up to it :crazyboy:

The stadium with the largest capacity. In that list, it would have to be the Bernebau.
