Hi all...I just picked up the game (I know...a little late) a couple of weeks ago, and I'm noticing very high scores. First, let me explain what how I play and what I've downloaded.

To get a feel for the game, I'm playing in a "Manage-Only" style, where I set the lineups and the IGMs/stratagies and then watch as the computer plays out the match. I have downloaded several of the "shot fixes" as well as the realistic game patch. I have also downloaded some kits, balls, and a Sky Sports Patch. I doubt any of the latter have an affect on gameplay, but I figured I'd cover all the bases.

So..my question is, how come I'm still seeing scores such as 8-5, 7-6, and 9-8? The game is set to World Class, so I would think I should be watching very low scoring affairs. What settings can I adjust (and to what) in the aimain.ini file to lower scoring and make it a more defensive game??? I play 10 minute halves by the way.

I know 2001 is old, but hopefully someone could help me out. Thanks.

found a few of these in the download section. Anyone know the differences between them?? I tried one, and so far it does look better. Just wondering what the differences are. Thanks!
