Has EA resolved the stigma issue in FAPLM 2002? I am waiting for my copy to arrive, and went back and played 2000 again. I took Rushden & Diamonds from conference to First Division in three years. Now I am getting my butt kicked, and NOBODY will agree to play for me, even 18 year old players in the Latvian second division. It is incredibly frustrating, and I don't think I can stand the new game if it has not been resolved.
Thanks.

If you review the old posts, you will be dissappointed to find that EA hasn't fixed this bug in the new game.

I looked at the old posts. In the FAPLM 2000, the stigma seemed to stay with the team forever, and while good teams could win the premiership or europe, eventually the players got old and retired and could not be replaced by talent good enoguh to stay up. BUt, a post says about FAPLM 2002 that if you stay up for a couple of years, then good players come. If it is the latter, then I think the problem is fixed (although it does not appear to be a bug, just a gameplay issue). Anybody played the game enough to know?
Thanks.
