well,i think its possible..they already made one,and it has the france 98 logo that means it was official..it didnt matter that EA had released world cup 98..so konami could make a wc2002 game i guess

anyways,i saw that Konami WC game..it was called Winning Eleven 3:France 98..it had the official france 98 logo,i only saw the cover of it in a store..ill see if i can get it somewhere on the net to show u..

Yup! played that game! it's called winning eleven 3 wc france 98 (winning eleven 3 did not have the updated roster for japan's world cup team)

sadly, it was licensed but onlly the japan national team, with real jersey and names and stuff. the others were ficticious...:(

but since winning eleven 5, some international teams started to have real players so if konami were to make a WC 2002 game, there is a huge possibility of having real names in (almost) all teams!!!
