hi everyone, wonder if you can give me some tips. I've been playing FIFA 99 for months on end now, and right now I'm trying to make the step up from Professional to World Class level.
At the moment I am good enough to beat most computer teams on average 2-0 in Professional Class level, Fastest speed (2-0 for good teams ... this can go up to 8-1 against weaker teams).
However at World Class (normal speed) I am usually lucky if i hang on to a 0-0 or 1-1 draw.

Scoring is really my problem, when I get into the opposition half I can't hang on to the ball long enough to build up an attack.
My trick is to knock a long shot that forces the keeper to tip the ball over for a corner - then I finally get a scoring chance.

What's a good tip for building up better attacks in World Class? Any particular special moves I could use?
Or any comments about World Class level would be cool.

Thanks
Niall

Hi,
This is a trick that i used recently and i waz pretty successful with it.When ur defender has the ball press Z.Ur winger will move up and then u clear/pass the ball(using A) to him. He'll cross the ball into the penalty box and u can head the ball into the net.Or ur winger can get in a through ball(using Q).ur striker can then shoot and u'll either score or u'll get a corner.
I gotta go now if u want more tips/tricks email me at Saurabh_6@rediffmail.com
Cheers,
Saurabh

if you want to up your offense, although you should be careful when you do it, change your formation. Place 5 strikers on the front line. I do a 3-2-5 formation. Once you get the ball, get it to the middle. Run up but quickly because the defense is very quick, relay it off to the side immediatly as the defender comes up. If you have a speedy player on the outside, once you get it to him, you can sprint up the side with him, burning the defenders, and using Q to elude them. Cross itin, and gte off a quick shot, so as to get a corner or a goal. The downsifde is that your defense sometimes gets hurt by these formations. But you can play with a more aggressive goalie by pressing ALT on breakaways.
Good luck

Weel i really succeed with this:

1.- Line up 4-2-4
2.-Give all the balls you can to your lateral forwards( i recomend to put the fastest players in your team here)
3.-Pass the ball in the center of the box an either of the other 3 strikers would recive it and just shoot)
Cheers
