Guys, look what I found in WE5 data file. This means the graphics are editable. Well, if your PS2 is moded and can play backup games.

Yeah, I was hoping that someone would edit JLWE5 like they did WE5 to make the menus English but it probably won't happen with PES around the corner.

You grab those pics from the data file yourself?

Yes I did, from the huge WE5.DAT file. What I am hoping is that one day we can edit the game so that accurate kits and rosters can be used.

Yup, now that is a raul, not that "Dan Petrescu wanna be Raul" that FIFA tries to pass to us. And they say FIFA has better grafx, Ha!

Unfortunately not. In ISS PE2, Konami used a very weird file format (similar to TIM but it is compressed). However, a good friend of mine, Walxer, figured out how to change the kits by changing t he colour palettes. You can find his shirt editor at various ISS site.

No my PS2 is still in the box. I haven't got it chipped as yet so I don't know whether it would work. A guy called Haplo wrote an editor which you can use to edit the players names and attributes. You could then have correct team rosters as well as correct kits in the game. You could even replace the national teams with club teams. The possibilities are endless.

Wow. This is great news. Now we can make edit the kits to look like the real thing. Best news yet. I hope PES have the same file structures.
