Hi,

I've just installed Windows 2000 Professional, but when I want to start Fifa 2000 I receive an error message: 'Fifa2000.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program.'

Anybody know if there's a patch for this problem. Is this problem cause by Win2k, or perhaps by my new videocard (Viper 770 TnT2)?

Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Peter.

Fifa2k isn't supposed to run on WinNT.

Could be, but isn't there any patch so it will run under win2k?

First you need to download new video drivers for Win2k.

The demo starts up, shows a brown screen, then boots me out. But the full game just gives me an error. Strange...

I think I get back to win98, and w8 till windows millennium is released.
This should work better with games.

Thanks for the replies!

WinMill will come out this summer. It is the consumer version of Windows. I don't know why a lot of people do install Win2k. Probably just because they think that it's a Win9x upgrade, which is not the case. WinMill is though.

I use Win2k as my os, but I also have Win98 installed to play certain games like TR, and fifa. Win2k is like a miracle, it's very stable, but not for everyone.
