Post the record of most goals in a match for your club.
Just curious to see if any team got in the 20's.

Real Madrid 11

Arsenal (then under the name of Woolwich Arsenal, strange name that as they never played their homes games in Woolwich, they then played at Plumstead), scored 12 without reply against Longborough Town in a 2nd division match in 1900. Not surprisingly Longborough, who had struggled for the previous few seasons, failed to win re-election to the league that summer.

However I know of several British sides to have netted 20+ in one match.

Preston NE beat Hyde 26-0 in an FA Cup tie back in 1888. The British record belongs to Arbroath of Scotland who beat Bon Accord 36-0 in a SFA Cup match two years earlier.

BTW, who did Real put 11 past and when?

Australia has the record for biggest world cup score

32-0 against America Samoa in a qualifyer

I think Archie Thompson got 13 goals

And that was without all our good players, Agostino, Viduka, Kewell, Tiatto.

Well i was the striker, a striker is meant to score :D
I started when i was 6, played in a club until i was 13, the coach was pissing me off, and i just quit, i'm happy about that now, now i can sleep until 11 am on sunday :)

Well, the worst is when the ground is frozen...hurts so much when you fall on the ground

Nah, I think it more hurts when you play in a stoney ground in a dry, cold winter morning.....

I rememember waaay back when I played inthe Middle School, the coach got pissed off at me for having a bad attitude and missing an important practice, so he scratched me before a game with some other Middle School in our city (our city has just 2 middle schools), which sucks at every sport except for soccer. I wanted my team to lose badly (because not only the coach, but I also hated some of my teammates). And they lost 13 or 15 to zero or something. The score was so big that everybody stopped counting after a while.

but when I got back in the team, we played the same team and lost 9:0.. which is a little better than 15:0 :)

if seriously, I remember Russia beating San Marino (WOO-HOO!) 7:0. We also beat Jari's Finland 6:0 about 6 years ago. Memories...memories..

well beating san marino, even with 7-0 is not an incredible thing...

if you hadn't noticed, I put "WOO-HOO!" in the parentecies after San Marino, meaningwhat you just said.

and if you want to go a little earlier, Germany beat Russia 16:0 or something in 1910's.. What a shame.

SK Gullegem is my favourite team, they play in the 3rd class in Belgium, that's like the 2nd division in England, but no doubt that the 2nd division in England is better then the 3rd class in Belgium.

SK Gullegem won with 13-1 a couple of seasons ago against Wervik.

And my favourite teams who are more known:

Club Brugge once beat KV Kortrijk with 8-0

And my favourite national team:

Belgium beat San Marino this year with a score of 10-1 in Brussels, I was in the stadion that game.

A match I will never forget, and I'm sure you guys remember that score?

I remember reading somewhere that a team from the former Yugoslavia won 134-1 or something like that some years back. The losing team took industrial action on the pitch and simply sat down for the entire 90 minutes. Dunno about their goal though, it was probably an O.G. The match was on the final day of the season, and the winning team survived relegation that season because of that match.

However I don't think it counts as a world record as it wasn't exactly a competivtive match.

I also remember reading in the same book about a Brazilian side also having reached triple figures, but I can't remember whether the losing side also had a on pitch strike.

Excluding these two matches the biggest first class win was when Arbroath beat Bon Accord 36-0 in an SFA match in 1886. Does anyone know of a higher first class win than the above match?

134-1? Are you kidding?

The losing team were on strike. It works out at a goal every 30 seconds, not that difficult against a team on strike.
