Ok, yesterday at Wimbledon, a Dons player put the ball over the top, and the Sheffield United player and a Dons player were chasing it. The Unidted plyer got to the ball first and chipped it up to the head of their keeper. The keeper headed it straight up, and then caught it.
Is that a pass back, or because he headed it to himself it isn't?

that should definately be a red to the goalie but it depends if the knock back was intentional
It was intentional. The refferee just said play on, and were were all really confused.

Unfortunatly thats what you get in the First Division. We have had 1 good refferee in 9 games.

I can understand,as a goalie myself, how people think that when 2 players are chasing a ball and a defender just knocks it back and the goalie picks it up how that can be let off,but when there's bags of space and a goalie picks up from a back-pass how the goalie should be sent off
Well when the keeper headed it up, he had loads of time, but he didn't mean to head it straight up into the air, and by the time it had come back down, Shipperly was just about to challenge him.

The player passing the ball should have been red carded. the keeper should have been penalised but if he hadn't of caught it then it would've been a goal

There's no way any cards should be shown to any of the players involved.
A pass back to your own goalie results in an indirect free kick from where the goalie handled the ball.
