What a win for the Irish. Click here (http://www.fifaireland.com) for my view of the match. Harte peno and Robbie Keane scored. Great performances by Roy Keane, Robbie Keane, Steve Staunton, Shay Given, Niall Quinn, Gary Breen, Jason McAteer and Steve Finnan. Harte and Kilbane played poor. See you in Tehran Iran.

great result but remember even the most resilient team can crumble in an atmosphere like the Iranians have.the goalie was a worse diver than Nicolai Amoruso(or however it's spelt)

Ireland don't lost a game in the qualifiers, do they?

p.s. What the hell did the Iranian goalie doing? He looked something wrong...

if Ireland don't qualify with the run they had in the group stages
I don't see what they could want from their players !!

Damn, Roy Keane out of the second leg. Niall Quinn and Steve Staunton doubtful.

YOU GUYZ JUST WAIT TILL IRAN PLAYS AT HOME! THE IRISH WILL FALL! I WATCHED THE FIRST GAME WITH ONE OF MY IRISH FRIENDS AND SAID THAT HE COULDNT WATCH THE LAST 30 MIN BECAUSE OF THE PRESSURE BROUGHT ON BY IRAN! IRAN HAD 4 SCORING CHANCES AND THEY GOOFED UP EVERYTIME! WHEN IRELAND COMES TO TEHRAN, IRAN ALL IRAN HAS TO DO IS SCORE A GOAL IN THE FIRST 30 MIN AND GET THE CROWD IN THE GAME! ONCE THE CROWD IS PUMPED UP, IRAN WILL DOMINATE THE REST OF THE GAME AND THE IRISH WILL LOOSE CONFIDENCE WITH A CROWD LIKE IRAN'S. IF IRAN MAKES THE SCORE 2-0 AND THEY GO TO GOLDEN GOAL... IRAN WILL POSITIVLY WIN, WITH THE CROWD ON THEIR SIDE, AGAIN THE IRISH WOULD BE TO NERVOUS TO DO ANYTHING. SO DONT BE TALKING BULL$HIT SAYING IRELAND WILL GO THROUGH, CAUSE THERE IS ANOTHER GAME, AND IRAN KNOWS HOW TO PLAY AGAINST IRELAND NOW!

dude....It's good that you support our national team and all. But Ireland are a really good team, dont think that they are going to be a pushover in Iran. I believe it's going to be a closer game than in Dublin, but i can't predict the winner. If Ireland does prevail, they will have my full support in WC2002. :D

I think Ireland know how to resist pressure and i have no doubt they'll qualify...

I really don't care which of these teams make it to the WC, I actually wanted both of them but Iran had to lose to Qatar  That being said when i'm in a cross between two teams that I like, I go for the underdog which in this case is Iran. They have their work cut out for them, but Ireland do know how to soak up pressure. I mean watch the Holland Ireland game again..who dominated the game Holland, who won Ireland. So if they can resist the onslaught of the dutch, it is not looking good for Iran. As I said they have to score 3 goals to go thru if they concede one to Ireland, they might as well forfeit.
