I think Turkey deserves to be in the world cup, last summer they beat us in Euro 2000 to go to the quarter finals.

I don't get it, everytime Turkey is sucessful in a competition, it pisses thousands of people off :D I mean we're just a country, we had had wars like every other country, we have our positive sides, we have our negative sides... like every other country... Are you still thinking about the Leeds murder? Are you thinking about the PKK? What is it people have against Turkey, I bet that you would change your opinion against us once you come and visit us... I know that Turkey isn't that good compared to the big european countries, it's only Galatasaray who has managed to actually go far in a European championship, I just wanted to hear 1 or maybe 2 congrats but instead I'm getting ****...

Just don't get too over confident yet, there's still a second leg to play and if you're not careful, the same thing might happen as it did vs. Sweden in your last WC qualifier...but, I doubt it, Austria is a team with little talent...

This is what I'm talking about, thank you very much guys... We humans can get so jealous and greedy... Greece U-21 trashed Turkey, I don't go round saying "lucky Greeks, they're so lucky, etc etc", I watched the game live, they played better than Turkey, tey seserve to win, I'm sad, I wanted Turkey to win but all credit to Greece, yes I hope we can host Euro 2004! The worse thing people do is to start yalking about Turkeys political history and stuff "oh Turkey did this, turkey did that" or "Israel did this, Israel did that", same thing goes for Greece. Turkey occupies Cyprus and suddenly people hate me for being happy when Turkey wins! It's a shame that Turkey and Greece can't get along, even though the relations are better now. Footbal is a symbol for unified peace, friendship, sportmanship, it won a NOBEL prize! Remember that! If Austria deserves to go through to the next round it's cool with me! As long as they deserve it... Respect guys...

when Haim Revivo came to Fenerbahce
and I think a lot of countries could learn from the turkish
