ok im an aussie, our national team has constantly been labelled a joke and underachiever, but tonight in what was our best game ever, we were robbed of glory by some SHODDY OFFICIATING!

but i say we were fooken ripped mates!

1/ france's goal had 2 players offside

2/ the dumbass blind ref didnt couldnt spot the world's most obvious penalty, IT WAS A PROFESSIONAL FOUL and the french player deserved a yellow card for that incident, but NO! fooken ref supports those big strong teams instead of judging the game on how its played on the park

anyway you french fans are probably going to whinge and moan at the fact dugarry picked up a knee injury

I was at the game in the Referee's box, with all the Aussie refs, in the members stand. I spoke to micallef (the ref), well my dad did, and he said that the penaly wasn't cause "it was shoulder to shoulder", bull! more like an elbow, the ref was too lazy to get close enough to see it.

although i hate france.....

You know I finally saw the challenge on Dugarry and baring all other occurances during the match....that challenge was very uncessary. I mean com'on, Dugarry wasn't going to score from there, you had the touchline to your advantage, he wasn't going to turn, you had a second man beside you for double team...why he still had to go in and scissors Dugarry's knee into oblivion, I don't know why. :rolleyes:
