You know the 1 - you double tap L1 i think it is

I know it's not supposed to be a FIFA-like move but does anyone EVER find it useful? I'm yet to find a use for it which couldn't be done more easily with other buttons.

Any ideas?

I've used it just before going round the keeper and it worked there - I'll use it to take the piss out of human opponents but other than that - No.

the only one i use is the fake shot feint

that is a very useful move when u use players with high dribbling, eg FIGO or ZIDANE.

1st of all, dun run!
then when u see a defender in frt approaching u,
press L1 twice, Figo will start doing the shimmy,

usually the CPU defender will try and TRAP your ball when u are near,

anyway, when u are near him,
quickly press Left or Right direction together with SPRINT
to CHARGE past the defender.

u will leave the defender wrong footed and u can then go on to cross or shoot!

Indeed it does! Our very own G-R has a wicked goal up at that iss site at Sportplanet that hosts goals where he does the double step over to fake out the keeper!

Yeah the step over moves freeze the CPU defenders for a moment if you do it correctly. if you wait until you are too near, he'll just strip the ball from you, if you do it too far away, he'll laugh at you. So you have to time it so that you can step over once and then cut left or right, which ever way you want to beat him.

This is the link to that goal. I must add though, it was actually 4 'stepovers' and the 5th one the turn to the side.
I've been telling the_man on ICQ, I'm gonna make it my challenge to get another goal like that in PES. I have done it one more time in ISS PE with pele against my brother.
