View Full Version : TO GUYS WHO HAVE DOWNLOADED SGOCL2000......0 Prashanth 24-03-2000, 08:42:AM Is it really worth the download? Do the graphics look cool like they do in the screenshots?, I haven't downloaded it yet..(Its a whopping 12mb)!! Pls reply.... Batistuta 24-03-2000, 01:04:PM I've downloaded it and it looks pretty decent if you ask me. The backgrounds are really cool as are the kits. F.B Forever 24-03-2000, 09:16:PM Batistuta i have a question i installed it and when i run the game i try to go through the leagues but it crashes is that happened to you Cantona07 24-03-2000, 09:32:PM barce i have the same prob i emailed the maker of the patch rich he said the patch only works on the uk version he was totally unhelpful big dissappointment plus the rosters are all screwed the patch doesnt even put them in ah well its a waste of download time no where like the fgocl of a few months back Prashanth 25-03-2000, 01:53:AM To Cantona07: I have downloaded the patch and it looks really crap. Some of the teams have wrong kits and I can't get on with the game as it hangs once I want to play a fixture. The only thing that looks good is the menu designs. Very typical of Rich I guess.... Cantona07 25-03-2000, 02:44:AM tru dat one of the worst patches for fifa in a long time what was all the hype menu pics please what a waste of an hour downloading the patch seriously if i see another patch made by rich i'll just think its a waste of time Et 25-03-2000, 04:44:AM I don't know because it have no diffrence afteri have installed it.Does it need MRA?? carpri 25-03-2000, 05:14:AM Same thing happened to me. Tried to play it four times and alal I got were four crashes. I installed into the Leagues folder (to manage it from FIFA MRA) and couldn't play at all. Checking into the files, I discovered it has no user folder. Maybe part of the problem is there, but the patch makers are not the most supportful of all. Prashanth 25-03-2000, 07:12:AM Hi all guys!!! I totally agree with carpri...Rich and company did not add any "User Folder". That is why we find teams like Portsmouth playing in the Champion's League. Any comments.. Hamdan 25-03-2000, 08:49:AM Wait for my European Champions League patch to come out at www.fifacentrespot.de expected tomorrow or Monday. It will have all the 16 teams in the second phase of UEFA Champiosn League 1999-2000 with correct kits (forgive me, some teams like Rosenborg will have the previous one not with REMA 1000 sponsor), correct rosters, team management based on infos from www.uefa.com, good adboards but with no menus one. E-mail me further for more infos at hamdan@fifacentrespot.de or hrs97@rocketmail.com Red_Devil 25-03-2000, 01:46:PM It's not Rick's fault I think, it's Fed2000's. Fed makes his changes in the data/cmn/fe-dir, and not in the user-dir The user dir only holds changes, the fe dir contains the full data. But if you change something in Fed, it changes in the fe-dir, and if your user-dir contains some other changes (by other patches,...), you get those synchronisation problems. What you need to do is the following; DELETE ALL FILES IN THE USER DIT (exept OPTIONS.SAV) --> make backups if you want to. If you use MRA: do the steps above, then start the patch, make some small changes (change a team name somewhere, change some player attributes, ...) and save those changes. Then quit the game, and copy the user directory to the leagues/SGOCL2000-dir. I think you now have created a SGOCL2000-optimised user-dir, which will be copied to your fifadir everytime you want to play. I am not sure about all this, I haven't tried it myself, but I have a strong feeling it will work. |
