I disagree, cause i believe that Turkey is better team than Eire. I think too taht Ukraine is much better than Slovenia, but the slovenian team played very good the playoff matches and they earned the right to go to the Euro2000

Turkey is much better than Ireland. I saw the first leg in Ireland, and Turkey completely outclassed Ireland! England shouldn't have made it, but then again, the best teams don't always make it. I can't believe I am saying this, but Scotland were the better team!

As far as I'm concerned England will be the easy-beats in Euro 2000

I think Slovenia don't stand a very big chance, they won't be the Czech Rep of Euro 96 or the Croatia of WC 98, and I of the big teams I think England stand little chance of glory, especially since their poor performance against Scotland.
Turkey could be the surprize team.
Holland is going to win Euro 2000.

Not a chance! The Ukraine were the best team in the playoffs by far and they went out (watch out for Slovenia though, they can't be that bad!)

And anyone who watched the two Scotland V England games and has a few braincells could see that England were LUCKY to beat them - play like that and England will be home after 3 games no problem!

As for Turkey - what a load of pish they are! But the good news is, Israel got shown up for the pish they are by Denmark!

I think Italy will win only if Viery is healthy and if the midfield plays well .Of course Maldini and the rest of defensemen should play well defensively.

u don't know what u are talking about kill4benfica and don't compare great teams to the the team that made it to the euro 2000 the second time in their history. i don't think u ever watch turkish international games. And if u compare slovenia to turkey turkey will win and now don't try to compare BRAZIL to TURKEY ok? ( don't talk about things that you don't know about them)

I saw both Ireland-Turkey games and frankly was surprised by how weak Turkey was.

Remember I picked Turkey to win this play-off pretty easily but boy did they struggle. As to the guy who said that Turkey dominated in Dublin I think that was a dream you had, Ireland would have won 3 or 4 - 0 if it wasnt for the amazing performance from Rustu the turkey keeper(named man of the match so that tells you something).

I think the bad performance has to come down partly to the fact because after the recent earthquakes the players might have been upset and off their game.

Ý think turkey should have gone to euro2000 without having to play a play-off match.it is better than germany, england, slovenia and especially better than n.ireland.

I Irish, but I have to say, Well done Turkey - although I cursed and swore at you for both matches, we (Ireland) didn't deserve to qualify on the night.
But u got to admit we were so unlucky not to qualify ages ago - denied by last minute goals against Croatia and Macedonia - so much for the luck of the Irish - we were favourites to top the group! Look what happened!!
Well, losing 4 play-offs in a row for Euro championships and World Cup isn't nice - lets hope England 2006 (if it's there) will be our time...
-BTW - hard luck Scotland - that was a gallant performance in Wembley.
