Is there any way to control the distance and direction of a cross in PE2? nothing i've tried seems to work

this would be very useful when on a breakaway and looking to cross to the edge of the box

Press on circle button: high normal cross.
Mash circle button hard: long cross.
Double-TAP circle button: near post cross for flick-on etc
Triple-tap circle button: hard fast cross along the ground

Bend the stick to affect height/curl

To surprise everyone, aim carefully and play a chipped through-ball into the area from out wide, instead of a normal cross. Your players will dash forward for it and the keeper has to decide whether or not to commit himself.
