90% impossible the shot from freekicks is so unaccurate it would demand plenty of days to practice and master it

Very true. Leaving out training mode was a BIG mistake.

yeah i have to agree there. that really pisses me off. the only real thing that i use practice for is for free-kicks. i'm not sure if they fixed it up, but in all the previous fifas the keepers actually starts moving towards the ball as soon as it's kicked, even though the wall is blocking the view.

i guess in a way trying to score of free kicks in the game is pretty useless anyway cos u hardly ever get any free kicks near the penalty box.

Yeah in fifa2002 in especially hard to control the ball. If you over-press 'S' (or whichever button you're using) then it won't go back. Once it's full, the ball's gone.

I've scored plenty on free kicks...its actually pretty easy to get them on net once you figure it out

when you curve the ball you have to set the arrow to the outside of the wall

almost so it looks like the ball would hit the wall....it won't...it will go just around the wall, i'll get a screen shot soon

I dont mean to brag but 60% to 80%,15% on target and 5% total **** ups. of my Free kick go in. You just need to get the power up bar to the red line at the end and no more, plus add curl to the ball

Ya, it's not so difficult.You have to direct the curved arrow to well outside the wall such that the middle portion of the curve points to where you want the ball to go.Get the power up to max but don't hold it for too long(unless you're faaaaaaar out) because it'll just go over.I scored 2 Fks from almost the halfway line against the czech goalie who's rated 56 or something.But, you've got to get it to be *absolutely perfect*.
