I just e-mailed them as well. We should all also make it clear in our e-mails that we DO NOT WANT an Americanized MLS version. While MLS Extra Time is better than FIFA, it's still pretty much the worst of all the ISS based games. You might also wanna make your e-mail short and sweet, while you at it. I kinda went off into a rant on mine...what can I say...I'm passionate about this!!!:D

Sorry for joining the band-wagon late...I don't want to come across as 'just because he can play imports he doesn't care' type. I want to be able to run to Best Buy and purchase a version of PES from KCET with out selling an arm and throwing in the leg too. I will Email Konami also. Cheers.

If everyone's taking this as seriously as I am, let's all make an effort to spread the word. If you know someone that like soccer games and doesn't visit this forum, give them the e-mail address. If you know another site where games are discussed, pass our message on! I'm desperate for PES to get my PS2 modded, but if I can walk down to my local game shop and pick up a copy, not to mention save loads of dough, I'm all for the this e-mail campaign. Viva la revolucion!!:D

I agree... I addressed this in one of my earlier posts.


BTW, even if you don't live in the US, send Konami an e-mail on our behalf. We're all part of the ISS brotherhood. The more people write in, the more effective this campaign can be.

One more thing...do what I did and copy your e-mail to notepad, then copy, paste and re-mail it every so often, just so they get the picture that we're not kidding.

I don't live in America, but I don't like the fact that not all fooball fans are gonna get to play this game. So I am gonna email them to. ISS/PES needs to get popular all over the world so it can take over fifa completely.

I've emailed them a couple of times in the past and actually gotten responses (which, ahem, is more than I can say for another game company).

But at the risk of great public embarassment, I admit to being a closet MLS fan. I beg you guys to not suggest throwing out the MLS sides in order to include those from PES - there's no reason the two can't coexist peacefully on a CD, let alone a DVD version. However, this is not to say that we don't want the gameplay core to be untouched from that of ISS PES/Winning Eleven, rather than the speeded-up MLS Extratime model.

You might also want to email KCEA with the suggestion to bring PES to NA, and/or to let them know of the problems with Extratime and how it could be improved, since this might be the best hope of getting another title in the States.

Not at all... I'm a MLS fan and I like having the MLS teams in the game (even though I don't use them that often :D)... I made this clear in my e-mail to Konami... We just don't want an MLS ONLY game that has MLS plastered all over it. FIFA does this but at least they include all the major European leagues and Brazilian league. The notion is that if it doesn't have MLS on it or MLS licensing that it won't sell here... this is NONSENSE especially in FIFA's case. Hopefully Konami will be smart enough t realize this.

No response yet... I posted in the Soccer News forum as well to hopefully get some other people e-mailing... they've GOT to release PES here! :D

On a side note... I also sent a great review to EA with the headline: WHY WE'RE NOT BUYING FIFA THIS YEAR!... I also posted it in their message board :D
