The only difference between fifa and pes are that

Fifa has the best presentation but crap gameplay.
Pes has mastered the gameplay but not the presentation.

Well that is A LOT of difference.

To tell it differently :
ISS doesn't look like real football but plays like real football
and
FIFA looks ike real football but plays like ice hockey

Where is everyone getting this idea that PES doesn't look like football?

i was talking about iss in general...but what i meant, is that there aren't all the real players etc...no real kits, no real clubs, no national leagues etc...etc...

I can´t believe that one from my homecountry (denmark) can be so narrowminded. Jakob, I bet you haven´t even tried PE og PES and have no right to critizise any of these games. Just go and play your fifa - a game for those who haven´t got a clue about what real fooball is about.
Don´t worry i´ve tried Fifa2002 and all the previous fifa games and they just aren´t any fun at all.

I don't get this either. Maybe this was the case a year ago and when comparing FIFA PS2 vs. ISS PSX, but actually I think the presentation in ISS is probably now better than that in FIFA. If you take accuracy into account and throw out the "numbered" rosters in FIFA, it even loses that edge.

Of course the gameplay isn't even in the same league. Shouldn't even be uttered in the same sentence ;)

Real kits for 3 major leagues are now in PES4
Real club names are now in PES4

And for the rest that haven't got the licences you PATCH it, got it?.

Fifa 2005 is better on everything. The ball controlling first of all, the shooting system, the moves, the running without ball, the defending, the tacklings, the freekicks etc.. simply move direction to the left to curl it to the left and right to curl it to the right during shot...I can't believe you haven't managed it by yourself, plus there is training mode and basic controls option where spiker describes how to shoot


about what is "better"...you know, sometimes what is an adventage for you is a disadventage for others and vice versa...

some ppl like fifa free kick system coz you can aim the circle to the target like sniper and then press a button when slider move into middle of that freekick bar

but some ppl like just shot it by themself, without any bar, sniper circle etc. stuff, just you, ball and wall

some ppl hates fifa animations coz they looks crappy and unrealistic for them
some ppl love fifa animations coz they looks so cool and so realistic for them


can you feel it? everybody likes another things and it's all depending on someone taste! if you can't get it just play the game you like the most and don't care that others like playing the other game

I agree. The opinion is different. Will try that about PES 3 freekicks cause I haven't 100% control of it.

Who gives a sh*t if this kid doesnt enjoy PES3 or will not like PES4. It's his loss. :hit:
