How to read. THe blue dots are the positions of the players on the field, next to them is starting line-up menus name for that position. So for example


take the first one, 4(wing)- 4 (diamond wing) - 2, Ashley Cole is a left back for England, if you are using that formation, you would see that in LWB position, is the LF, you must in the starting line-up,, substitute Ashley COle as the left forward (LF), on returning into the game, you will see him play in the left back position.

THE GENERAL PRINCIPLE IS THAT IF THERE ARE WINGS ON YOUR FORMATION, THE STARTING LINE-UP MENU MESSES UP ON THE PITCH (don't ask me EA must have made an error in that algorithm)
