I don't see PORTUGAL in your list, though it's actually the nº4 top national team in the world [check the FIFA standings]. It's quite good in the game too, I beat all the teams in professional level, but it could be me:D

Well, Croatia is unbeaten in 2 years, they did qualify as first not losing a single game, and conceding only 2 goals in 8 games, the BEST defensive record in Europe. We're definitely in the top ten, but maybe EA stuffed this up again?

Whatever the case, Croatia is going to the cup, which more than I can say for a lot of those countries (Belgium?)

Therein lies the main problem with FIFA 2002 - it's fine to theorize about the best teams in the game, but when it comes down to gameplay there is virtually no difference between your "best" and Guam or San Marino.
