It’s getting really disappointing.

The issues:

1) I press continously the run button to obviously make my player run. 3 times on 5 if, for instance, I stop the run of my player to shoot, my player passes automatically the ball forward to no one!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2) Often I lose completely the control of the game: my players play 1-2 pass by themselves. I can sit and get a coffee before taking over the control again.

I have a microsoft force feedback pro gameport version (no activated profiler). This does not happen if I play with keyboard. I already posted this problem, but now Iwas wondering: isn’t there a way to tweak the big ini file in order to disable 1-2 pass? Maybe this could help….

the 1-2 problem occurs when your gamepad has a THROTTLE -control !

Be sure that its centered in the middle to avoid 1-2s !:rolleyes:

When I first ran FIFA (throttle not centered) players continously passed the ball: centering throttle solved this problem, but I keep randomly (and often) experiencing 1-2 atomatic passing.
So maybe while I play throttle loses for a moment centering owing to joystick movements? If it is so maybe I should

1) manually fix, stick throttle, or
2) try, through windows registry, to disable throttle.

What do you think about this?

Yes you can disable the 1-2 pass system for the 2001 version. how? Download game raptor from http://www.socceraccess.com This and numerous of other options will open up for you. Unlock all tournaments? Many other cool options like playing the game in a windows while you work on your desktop. Many options go download it.
