FIFA RTWC 98 WOULD BE THE ONE...FIFA WC 98 HAD BETTER GAMEPLAY BUT IT LACKED IN OVERALL OPTIONS IT HAD NO LEAGUE PLAY,FIFA 99 WAS THE BIRTH OF PINBALL SOCCER(LETS BOW OUR HEADS FOR A MINUTE TO MOURNE THE PASSING OF REALISTIC GAMEPLAY) AND IT HAD NO WC MODE AND FIFA 2000 IT HAS WAY TOO MANY SCREW UPS FROM INCOMPLETE ROSTERS TO ETHNIC PORTRAYALS AND STUPID OFFSIDE CALLS THIS GAME IS VERY GOOD FOR NEW PLAYERS BUT FOR SEASONED PLAYERS ITS A HUGE LET DOWN...NUFF SAID

Im talking about the playstaion versions here. I hated FIFA 99. It had so many good things going for it but the ping pong ball gameplay speed on world class level made it a joke. World Cup 98 had the best "atmosphere" correct shirts and stadiums adding a lot to that. Road to the World Cup had the best selection of international teams and its gameplay speed was just right. Fifa 2000 however is the best so far for me. It isnt quite slow enough and the pitches are too small but on the playstation the gameplay is a huge improvement on Fifa 99. There are still things i dont like about Fifa 2000 but at least this time round it halfway feels like a real football match.

I have all of them for Playstation since 97 and each one I liked better then the previous one, before I got 2000 that is...

This game has so many faults i find it annoying, and am thinking of playing another season with 98 instead.
