At the moment, I don't seem to have much trouble at all in beating good teams at level 3 in PES.

Smaller, not-so-good teams though...............

Portugal, England, Brazil (although not famously defensive) are so much more open at the back. They play to beat you and leave room for you to exploit on the break.

Crappy teams like Austria, China, Korea, Peru, USA etc are so defensive that I really do have trouble breaking them down. In fact, I drew against each of these teams in an International Cup (1-1s or 2-2s) - Only beating USA on penalties!!

I realise that's the way it real football is and my control of my own tean is definately getting lots better - but bloody hell you have to work for the goals!

The good teams may get thru my defense better but they are a) left wide open on the counter and b) their defenders are too confident, you can catch them when they have the ball leaving you clean through on goal.

You can tell that little things like this will all enrich the game as you get better - and bump up the playing level.
