Having finished work at 4pm on Friday I rushed to the nearest shop to buy PES.......The tension mounted as my home grew closer or rather the PS2 got closer....

Finaly indoors and the PS2 switvhed on and then pure heaven, bliss, paradice the game is fantastic.... well worth the wait.

The movement of the players is spot on, The slightest deflection of the ball will result in a shot that was on target going a mile wide(Brilliant!!!) .

if only this game had the Fifa polish it would be %100 perfect as it is 98% player perfection.

anyone who denies this needs to be shot!!!

One thing that PES can take from FIFA is the possession meter - I'd like some kind of reward for hogging the ball such as a factbox saying my possession was 72% to their 28% - but instead, whenever I keep passing the ball around, all I get is "he's playing it safe."

Im not sure which version you have, I suspect its ISS pro evolution 1 or 2, but in PES the new PS2 version there is a possesion stat, aswell as freekicks, corners etc...

True there where a good few flaws with ISS PE1/2 but most have been rectified in the new PES.

Looks like mr. Voltaire, who gave us all a rundown of PES' faults, hasn't even played the game.

It has possesion tracking, and no, they didn't steal this from FIFA like FIFA stole "gameplay" elements such as shot bar and through ball from ISS, they simply incorporated something which SOME telecasts include.
