After being sick & tired of asking every single game store in Australia, (who dont have a clue about release dates) I thought I would ring up Ozisoft (the distributors) & ask them myself.

They told me that PES is going to be distributed from their factory in Sydney on Friday 30th Nov, & hence most stores in Australia should have PES by Monday 3rd December.

Believe it or not!

I guess that's a step closer to getting a real release date for Australiasia. Seems like no-one really cares about us down here. Bastards!;)

Well, at a NZ gaming store's website, they had the realease for the 27th yesterday (which was the 27th), and when I went on today, they had the release for the 28th, which is today.
Who wants to bet that tomorrow it'll say the 29th:rolleyes:

Well the thing is, I rang EB today, and they said the 28th (today) I rang today expecting the game not to be in..and shock horror, it wasn't!!!!!

they said it may still come today or tomorrow, so they advised for me to ring back.

So i'm really not expecting it in, as the dates keep getting out back

Honestly it's typical Ozisoft!!!!!

They used to distribute Championship Manager, and I would ring them up to get the release date for the game....they would say "actually it should be out today, and in game stores by tomorrow or the next few days"..........4 weeks later, the game still wasn't in.

I don't know what Ozisoft's caper is, when they say a date, you'd hardly know whether it's going to be the date or not, so don't take their word for it.

Unbelieveably I still don't have a game for my PS2 at all, because I'm saving my money for the games, that should have been released by now, but they haven't as yet.

It would be in Sony's best interest to get on the back of some of these companies/distributors, as it doesn't look good for their PS2, me and my friends who are into the same types of games are getting really frustrated and angry about it all.

Went to the Electronics Boutique in High Point, Melbourne today, and asked about PES. He said "yeah, it was supposed to be released today, but it hasn't come in yet, we'll get it tommorow for sure", heard it before. Then he said "We've got the new FIFA, that's a lot better than PES", I laughed at him and asked him if he has played or watched football, he said he finds it boring and FIFA is great, I just laughed.

Don't you just hate ignorant people like that? Half the people who work a game stores don't know what they're talking about.

oh, and they have changed it to "late november" now
