Prepare to fight LIKE HELL to beat the Jerries and Romanians.

Some of those Rom/Ger players could be my bloody grandparents so they HAVE NO excuse.

Shearer did okay but had no support. Owen was poor before the "injury". Heskey is not international class. The rest of the team were just lumping it in, to his credit Shearer was winning the first ball, gaining free kicks and corners and was more mobile that Heskey and Owen. Campbell and Adams were poor tonight and I thought Seaman did not command of his box enough - to the detriment of his performance. The Nevilles played ok, Beckham was England's best player and McManaman was a miss when he went off. I have tried to pick a side against the Germans but cannot at this minute, see a victory. Will have to wait for the mists of disappointment to subside.
