Hats off, Hats off, Hats off!!!!

I honestly thought that this was maybe the worst (if there is such a thing) team of the tourney, and now look what a beautiful soccer the play!
This kinda game can work on every team, so this can really be interesting.

Hats off, again!

The second half was the best 45 minutes of international football I have seen in ages!
Both teams showed great heart and determination - what a game.

Oh, and Mihajlovic needs to have his head examined!

sorry mrkovic,Yugoslavia r not that good at all,it was Slovenia who ran out of steam, at the end of the day ur beloved Yugoslavia failed to beat the weakest team in the Tournament,and it Slovenia is still the weakest team because they can't last for two halves!

Cheers

I'd also like to see an England side that would concede three goals to an average side. While Yugoslavia got a point, they must realise that Spain and Norway may well take all three points from Slovenia, and Yugoslavia have yet to play either of them. If they concede three against Spain or Norway, they will not be allowed back. This result will probably be the game in a weeks time that is the difference between the road to the quarter finals and the plane to Belgrade. No matter what kind of comeback was acheived, the fact remains that Yugoslavia have just a single point and have yet to play the two strongest sides in the group (who I would imagine would take all the points if this showing is repeated). Mrkovic should take heart in the comeback, but should also wonder why on earth they had to make a comeback in the first place.

Traditionally we start bad at tournaments and then pick it up when it counts. This Sunday we will see what team shows up. The team that sucked as$ for 75 minutes or the team that kicked as$ for 15 minutes.

Mrkovic,
I'm not sure why you're showing off when your team tied 3-3 with Slovenia...
And must I remind you of a score from a few weeks ago when Yugoslavia went on a tour of Asia;
Hong Kong 4 Yugoslavia 2...
Still, nice comeback today though.

06/03/2000. The result of the Yugoslavia versus South China HK Selection is a disappointing defeat for Boskov's men. The Yugoslavs collapsed in the first half with South China Select leading 3-0 at the break. A 65th minute strike from Mateja Kezman and a 90th minute consolation goal from Sinisa Mihajlovic were the only positives to come from this game.

Yugoslavia 2 South China HK Selection 4

Scorers:

Yugoslavia - Mateja Kezman 65, Sinisa Mihajlovic 90

South China - Zeljko Gavrilovic 10, 25, Cheng Siu-chung 26,
Lee Wai-tik 70

Halftime: 0-3

Yugoslavia:
22-Ivica Kralj; 2-Ivan Dudic; 6-Dejan Stankovic;
7-Vladmir Jugovic; 8-Predrag Mijatovic (11-Sinisa Mihajlovic); 10-Drgan Stojkovic; 14-Nisa Saveljic; 17-Ljubinko Drulovic; 18-Darko Kovacevic (20-Mateja Kezman); 21-Albert Nadj (9-Savo Milosevic); 24-Goran Bunjevcevic
