This was easily the worst game yet..if u gonna win a game their has got to be some kind of passing...this was ridicoulos how bad our passing was..

But remember we can play..beat England 2-1 at home and played 0-0 at Wembley (and won the group easily)...We did only let in 1 goal in the whole qualifying stadge..
...we were lucky then - winning the tight matches by 1-0...can't live on luck all the time..

No way. With that dork Inzaghi upfront Italy will be lucky to score at all - it can't always come from midfielders. PUT IN DELVECCHIO OR MONTELLA! Without them, no chance to win it all.

What ?Well it is true that they didnt play vs belgium ,why do u think they beat them 2 days ago ?As for Inzaghi ,Id leave him there ,at least he creates chances and he played well in the last 2 games ,he even assisted on Fiore's goal ,Delvecchio is crap ,he is so bad that he shouldnt even be in the lineup .Beleive me ,Italy should at least come out with a tie versus sweden.I doubt that Sweden can actually penetrate Italy's defense and Sweden's defense have made many mistakes in the past 2 games that Italy can take advantage from .Anyways thats my point of view .

What do you mean Delvecchio is crap? Where do you live? Canada? How many games of Inter/Roma did you see in the past 5 years? 1?
If you did, you'd know that Delvecchio is the only striker in Italy to come close to Vieri, not only for the physical aspect but also for the great work he does on the pitch. He has a far better control than Inzaghi and is among Italy's Top 5 when it goes down to headers.

And it is not true that none of Cannavaro, Nesta and Maldini played vs. Belgium. Stop posting such crap.

Well,Its true ,if you look at starting lineup of the friendly game Belgium-Italy,you would notice that Maldini did not play because of injury ,Nesta and Cannavaro were not on ,so that they can rest them ,so they putted Ferrara,Vanoli and another defensemen whom I forgot about .
2nd.Yes Delvecchio is crap ,so he is big ,this guy just sucked ,look at Rome,they kept losing almost every game at the end of the season ,all the crappy were beatting them and Delvecchio is not international material ,in the last game when he substitued inzaghi ,he had great chance of scoring ,but instead of shooting right away he kept the ball way too long .I wouldnt seeing Montella ,but i wouldnt like Delvecchio to be on .As for Totti ,I rather have him replaced with Del Piero ,Why?well Del piero seems to be playing like himself back 2years ago and he is really a good dribbler .Monday we will see what del piero can do since that he is going to be in the starting lineup.

And for Delvecchio - 30 goals (no penalties) in the last 2 seasons for Italy's only defending striker. This players sucks. The only striker I know who sucks is that **** Superpippa Inzaghi.

I never said Cannavaro-Iuliano-Ferrara equals Maldini-Nesta-Cannavaro. I only said it was wrong that none of then played, which is right.

I dont mind if Inzaghi gets benched ,but i would rather have Montella replacing him than Delvecchio ,Delvecchio is total crap ,he will probably be benched in Rome since that Batistuta is coming .Delvecchio is worthless ,i would rather have Ferrante than Delvecchio in the national team .

Hey dork,Inzaghi scored 26 goals this season(including cup matches),No other italian player comes close .So what if cannavaro played ,theres a big difference when Nesta and Maldini dont play ,the defense is a little weaker .So if your smart ,how come Italy lost 3-1 to Belgium ,but then beats Belgium 2-0 .Ill tell you why .Maldini,Nesta and cannavaro played extremely well defensively ,i doubt that they would of done that with Ferrara-Cannavaro-Iuliano .
