Just noticed on EA's site that you can download Fifa97 for free.

You need 95/98/Me to run it though and a high end calculator :cool:

pc fifa 97 sucked

this one ruled, custom players, custom teams, transfers for the MD! It was fast, challenging unlike pc fifa 97, in which gameplay was horrendous, the players had to get into the same position each time to shoot, you could dribble rings around your oppenent.
every player looked the same....

thank god for the sequel.

err dude..i think you are wrong..the md version was just like the snes version.the pc version was like an early version of fifa98,it had indoor soccer and all..it was much better than the md and snes versions..i think u havent played the pc version..

man, i have played every single fifa game on the planet.

the snes and md versions had indoor soccer too. the md version had custom teams, custom players and custom tournaments and transfers which the snes version did not have. After winning a competition from a certain country, you could enter those teams into your custom tournaments, which meant the game had lastability. The PC version had very bad gameplay, it was very slow and the ball felt like it was made out of lead unlike the snes and md versions, which had fast and flowing gameplay.
