yesterday I D/L & tried McAfee virus scan, what a mistake. I had to manually delete 120 reg entries on uninstall.

I also cannot get a working crack for Norton 8.0, so if anyone has 1, pls give me it.

I use InoculateIT Personal Edition from Computer Associates. This is Freeware, but it is no longer made available by CA, but they still issue updates, which are also free.

You can download it from www.downloads.com and updates are on http://antivirus.cai.com/update.htm

It doesn't check downloads on the fly, so you need to download to disk, then scan it. The updates are more frequent than many of the big names, I've seen three updates in one day before now. They also have downloads for fixes if you do get infected, which many of the big names don't offer.

Right now i'm using Norton Antivirus 2002 v7.0 and it's great but it slows down my 433 mhz PC when windows loads up :(

I use Anti Virus Pro from kaspersky labs, it is usually updated every 24 to 48 hours .. Ned

i use McAfee 6.1.....its great.....wonder y u had any problem.....

it caught 3 more viruses that Norton did on the same machine....
