This has probably been asked before, and I'm probably being a bit dim, but I'm still fairly new to pe2 and wonder if someone could answer the following....
Is there any way to pause the game and get a replay of recent action? It seems replays are only shown when the ball goes out of play (over the bar etc) and it would be nice to see replays after a goalmouth scramble/ rebound off the bar etc.
Is there a way to push more players up/bring more back for corners? It would be good to put another defender on the back post or put a forward right next to the keeper etc.

about the replay : no ,you can't see one in the game , I find that ennoying too , and also the fact that goal replays are too short ,
because if you made some fantastyic action it's already out the replay.
About the players etc....
look aroud for yourself a bit ,
you could set your players more offensive,
Make your last defender a libero

Thanks Matthias.
That's a real shame about the replays. I agree about the goal replays too.

there are a few ways you can use to bring more men forward/back to attack/defend at corners.
you can alter the attacking/defending bias of the team using L1 + circle and square
you can set up a custom tactic to change formation of the team so you can basically set up a very defensive formation to defend corners (eg 5-4-1....alter the position of each player to defensive area of their zone .....and you can set the individual attacking bias of each player to stay back and defend). Then, when you have to defend a corner, you simply turn on that tactic and you will have a packed defence....
likewise for attacking formations...set a custom tactic with 3-4-3 formation, position all your guys in advanced positions within their zone, make your defenders as Libero so they go forward for corners, etc
unfortunately, you cannot place individual players in specific locations to defend corners, such as marking the back post...you just have to let the CPU decide where your guys stand :(
hopefully PES 2 will allow more flexibility and options
