Perhaps before play starts the teams should line up and sing their national anthems. Music could play in the background. Thats what happens in real life matches today! It would be a good feature.

They could buy Encarta and record all the national anthems:D

Thats a good idea. Also during the anthems, the camera could move sideways, across all the players and refs and have them singing (or atleast have thier mouths moving).

Or they can do a mini movie for each team

players should be in and out of form and before each game there should be a profile of a player thats been in great form...for the CPU too....i think EA had the hot and cold streak in one of the NBA Live games....i think it was NBA Live '99

I think it would be great that you could play with several teams in the same worldcup not as Fifa 2002, it sux cuz you cant play with mor than one team per league or Road to World Cup, i remember when i played FIFA RTWC 98 with my brothers the conmebol. i played with venezuela my brother with colombia and my other brother with Argentina it was great to play with other players in the same league or road to world cup.

umm.... it'd add 5 minutes to every game.

I guess it would be alright for the first few times, but after that, it'd just be annoying. They should also add an option to turn national anthems off.

It wouldn't bother me if it was a toggle option. Just as it gives the game a more realistic feel.

Heck, while we're at it...

Have youth teams run out with the players from the tunnel.

Have the team set up for a team photo after the anthems.

Show players exchanging uniforms after the match.

Thats a great idea. Thats a good point, while we are at it, throw in something else.
