First of all, since the FIFA 98 and WORLD CUP 98 games from EA SPORTS, soccer games sucks ! EA SPORTS is serving us gamers warmed up soup, with a very few new things in the games ! Fifa 99 was not such a big boom as it was FIFA 98, then FIFA 2000 was a disaster, because it was just a little alterned Fifa99 ! Now, I have had a chance to play and see for myself EURO 2000 ! THIS IS GOT TO STOP !EA SPORTS has gone over the line !

But let me get to the point:
I am playing FIFA games from the very beginning and after FIFA 97, Fifa 98 vas a big surprise ! It was GREAT game ! Now, as I already said, Fifa99, Fifa2000 and EURO 2000, those are just made to get the money from our pockets, yet the games aren't offering any much fun !

-the gameplay was a little too fast in Fifa 2000, in Euro 2000, this is repaired a little bit, but still i miss bigger field
-AI was too easy in FIFA 2000 on world class level, in EURO 2000 is a little better but still isnn't very realistic or at least similar to real life (THIS MUST BE REPAIRED!)
-when shooting free kicks, WHY, WHY can't the ball be shot over the human wall, not just around it, OVER the WALL, i am wondering if EA SPORTS game makers are watching the TV and real matches and free kicks from Roberto Carlos, Zidane, Mihajlovic, they also can shoot over the wall, not just around it
-weather, this one is critical, when snowing, there is a snow on the playground guys, not just falling from the sky and not pilling up on the field ! Not all stadiums have heating in the ground ! Also, RED ball please in snowy weather (altough, red ball is in Euro 2000, but still, weather could be made more realistic, in the rain, maybe some water on the field etc..)
-Reffere...disaster, still doesn't do as he supposed to ! (in EURO 2000, every referee is bald, ?!?!) But as the refferes strictness is concerned, i always play with strictness to maximum and still don't beleive, that when the foul, from the BACK is made on me, whistle is not making any noise, DISASTER !
-where have all the special moves go, moves like fake dive, when you faked your fall, and maybe get a foul for that act, some dribllings were also lost and we missed them ! There is a new move, blocking the ball, but I haven't get to known any big use of it !
-EA SPORTS MUST look up on the games like NBA LIVE 2000 and NHL 2000 ! In Fifa 2000, there was a "career" where you can play many seasons. BUT, where were computer made transfers as in NBA or NHL, i have played 5 consecutive seasons and one transfer hasn't been made in this 5 season, or NO new player has come up, nor some old player haven't retired (this things are already in NBA and NHL ) It is kind of unrealistic to play with the player, that he has almost 50 years !
-Injuries, in NHL you get to know what is wrong with the injured player, he maybe has dislocated shoulder etc... in Fifa 2000 and in Euro 2000 also, there is only saying INJURED, WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIM ! Is it so hard to put in the game maybe sprained ankle, torn muscle, or whatever ! Look up on the good job from NHL !
-In NHL and NBA, there are ALL players have real faces, in FIFA 2000 all players looked like they are related, in Euro 2000 there is a "new" technology, to make more different looks for players ! IT LOOKS AWFULLY UGLY guys ! EA SPORTS said, that, there is to many players to make that possible, oh really, fir EURO 2000 game, they got the license to make the game, but I can still see some old flaws, wrong numbers for some players, wrong roster, the teams have 16 or 18 players, but we know, that every team has 22 players, looks are not correct, since when Pippo Inzaghi have blonde hair ? Dyorkaeff name is NEUF ?!?!!? So much for the license !
- I remeber game called EURO 96 from GREMLIN ! That game was really something ! There were REAL STADIUMS in the game, REAL PLAYERS AND ROSTERS, WITH CORRECT NUMBERS, REAL REFEREES !!!!!! At the end, it didn't matter with wich team you win the tournament, the commentary was made for every single team in the game ! And the game had license, which was well used and deserved to have license, which we can't say for EA SPORTS anymore !
-WHY, and I mean REALLY WHY there is no more possible to play cup or season or league for 2 players or more ! Also in Euro 2000, there isn't possible to play EURO 2000 game with 2 players ! I remember in EURO 96 game, me and my 3 friends, played all night, everyone with his own team ! IT WAS FUN ! Playing solo in every option of the game BUT friendly isnt' very fun.
-Goalie still doesn't look very realistic, where are occasional goalie errors, when he stands to outside from the goal, and you could lob him (Scmeichel problems ..), WHY is there only some moves in which you can score a goal ! Some bad teams doesn't score goals with bycycle kicks and volleys etc. Where are goals, where you can put the ball in the other corner of the goal, when player just tap the ball past the goalie !NO, in Fifa 2000 and Euro 2000, there is just KICK button, end thats all, no feeling, just power kick ! SAD!
-In NBA and NHL in the beginnig of the game, there are the most beautiful pregame shows with lasers, national anthem etc. WHY not in FIFA or EURO ? I think on EURO will all the people which will come, have some baloons, fireworks, confetti with them to cheer for their team, in Euro 2000 there is just one big greasy looking so called people which supposed to wave etc ! I think in the real life this look a little different, for example big France national shirt, people cheering and doing the wave, etc..... Also, when you win the tournametn or season etc... EA SPORTS could really DO something else ! In Fifa 96 there was actually fireworks when you won the season or cup, ..now, the players are just running one lap around the field and that's it ! (And this is looking alike from fifa 97 on....DISASTER!) Where is spectacular stuff like people which team has won throwing ballons, where are fireworks, etc....it is just imperative to use imagination guys
-real life is really missed in FIFA 2000 and EURO 2000, where is more player outbursts, when ref gives a penalty when there was a playing with hand in the penalty box, where are disputes with ref and player and when player gets a card for being obrassive to the ref ?
-why can't the human wall be moved ? The players who make human wall are as they were planted, in real life i think that there is actually always an issue whether the wall is to close etc. There should be an ability to move the wall in the allowed measures !
-graphics are not really nice, in EURO 2000 the graphics are worst than in FIFA 2000 or Fifa98
-I didn't know, that ALL playgrounds (in Euro2000) have the exact grass and pattern on it !?!?
-WHY in EURO 2000 can't we play directly and only EURO tournament with teams that REALLY qualified on the tournament ! Instead of that we must play all the qualifying round ! STUPID !
-Why there is a SIMULATE GAME button out of the game ? As they are trying to extend the hours of playtime with that ! MAKE A BETTER GAME and the people will play it !

Well, I could write some more things, but I guess, there won't be any changes ! It is really sad, that EA SPORTS once made great soccer games, now, they are just doing some few modifications to the game and serving us a warmed up soup ! We give a lot of money to buy a games like that, and I think it's unfair that we are being screwed every time, because EA SPORTS doesn't accept our wishes or at least try to do the things we want in the game ! We can also say, that EA SPORTS is lazy and sleeping on previous products that were worthy EA SPORTS label, but not anymore ! FIFA 2001 should better be really something new, something completely different from Fifa 2000 or Euro 2000 ! I think I am not the only one, who thinks that, and it would be just great, if someone from EA SPORTS could read that and make a difference ! Until something doesn't change, I won't buy another EA SPORTS product, because it is the waste of money ! I can play fifa 99 and get almost the same game as Euro 2000 if not better !
But now, when the EURO competiton is here, i will play EURO 96, because the game rightly has the license, what i can't say for EA SPORTS Euro 2000 ! SAD SAD SAD !

I almost forgot one more thing ! In EURO 96 the players who played two or three games in a row, he got tired, so you had to rest with him in order to perform well in games to come ! This was one of the thing, that made EURO 96 game perfect ! In Euro 2000, the players get fatigued, but there is a big mistake here ! Not all players are equally phisically prepared, so this should be taken on mind in the game ! Also, euro tournament is played for almost 3 weeks, so players must play a lot of games in a row , almost day by day, so nobody can tell, that they don't get tired doing that ! EA SPORTS forgot about that too! I already mentioned all mistakes etc, so I don't think I need to say more ! Such products are just robbing people blind and again, EA SPORTS should really do A LOT of difference in the next game to keep us satisfied ! I guess it's EA SPORTS turn now !

Maybe they should really WATCH and SEE what all comes in the (real) game, so they could really put it in the game !
And again, for what is concerned about the license, it's too bad, that Gremlin didn't get the license, it doesn't matter who could make the game, I am sure, that anybody else would do a better job ! It's really a BIG SHAME on EA SPORTS to literally destroy what could be a great game because of the license, but now , the game is below average!
Really hope, that someone from EA SPORTS will read all this and make something ! At least I wonder what they reply to that would be, because I gave up hope to see some really good soccer game when I saw FIFA 2000 !

Why only 1 player control, this alone that would make many people hate this game! I remember playing WC 98(control all 32 teams!) or RTWC where you could control 8 teams, I still remember playing with several buddies, all trying to qualify our teams for the WC, it was fun! Now that whole aspect of groups playing is gone, first with FIFA 2000 and now with this game. They ruined the game with this!

They put stupid restrictions so we can't play the game the way we want, we have to play it the way EA wants. They took away the unlimited bankroll cheat on PS version last 2 years! People who liked making fantasy teams got screwed because they did't have time to put that cheat in! Stupid!!!

You are all so A.N.A.L just play the ****ing thing, it is a GAME not real life! There will never be a game that can simulate the real game, impossible. Football changes every week from each individual ground and every single country. Players are born who change the game and therefore how can you make anything but a game reflecting Football at that moment in time. I have played both Euro 2000 and ISS Pro and you could sit there and pick BOTH games to bits! Every one loves to cut down the tall poppy and EA is the tall poppy at the moment. If konami was I gurantee all of you would be using Ea as an example of how to change konamis game. It is a cycle that everyone will go through, after having seen infogrames new game uefa 2000, it looks like they will have pipped everyone!

In closing, just play the game thats what it is!!!!!!

If I'm spending 40 to 45 dollars for a game, I don't want a piece of crap, I want a game that was done with some forethought, imagination, attention to detail, and a little genius. The things we mentioned are little things that EA could have done easily to please their fans but no, they just don't care, these are things which have major impact of how much I enjoy the product.

What was the big technical difficulty of allowing people to control more than 1 team someone please explain? what is difficulty of having real scheduals in the game?! These are stupid little things a company that cares about details would not be skipping over.

And Elefthrios, let me give you my reply, I would rather play a arcade game like ISS is I guess, and not some semi simulation, semi arcade crap from EA ! Gameplay, style of playing the game etc aren't changed since fifa98 and that is the issue ! They haven't done anything sensational new, they still don't watch out for DETAILS, and details are, my friend, small things that could make a game like that GREAT ! And that details made EURO 96 game great ! You should read first all I have written adn than talk about it ! Like PolishPower said, i won't be spending big money for game, and get warmed up soup with some new spices in it ! I want a new game, that is worthy of license, in game should also be details we players are crying out for them for a long time, at least they could show some effort in roster section ! I didn't see any mistakes and flaws in NHL or NBA ! There are all rosters, numbers and FACES correct ! Why not in fifa or Euro ? They are lazy man ! Euro 96 by Gremlin, yeah nice stats and evrything but it was a joke, to me WC 98 is just one stupid joke compared to Euro 2000, Euro 96 was really crap.

But that still doesn't mean Euro 2000 is such a great game, possibly the best ever by EA, but what should EA's best consider, it would be considered a prototype if Mircosoft had developed it.

EUro 96 had license for Euro tournament and they did a great job, REAL STADIUMS; REAL REFEREES, COACHES NAMES, ALL ROSTERS CORRECT WITH CORRECT NUMBERS , wind, etc !
Option to play 1-4 players in Euro tournament, in Euro 2000 you can play tournament directly, and you must play it solo, the game SUXX ! And still isn't worth to have a license for EURO !

Yes, EA SPORTS should really looked at this website in order to justify license for the game ! Now, what they have made is looking like they just want to get some more easy money from us gamers, for very small effort put in the game !
Really, EA should, sorry MUST do better in the future ! And the game is not a decent game, the game is below standards !
