Just saw the goals on bbc...there was a big problem in newcastle's markings on united's goals...on the 3 goals scholes and v.n. were all alone to easily score their goals...

yeah, but United were clinical in what they needed to do. They finished their chances and put them away. and GOALS is how u win games!

Newcastle are just like Chelsea. They are both good teams but they lose when you don't expect them to.
Chelsea beat Liverpool and Man U and then lost to Southampton.
Same with Newcastle, they win matches and then lose the most important matches by scorelines of 3-1 or 4-1 or 4-0.

This is why Manchester wins every year. It is because the other teams cancel eachother out. Every season the leaders are Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Aston Villa and close to the end of every season all these teams defeat eachother just enough for Man U to catch them from behind and get ahead of them and win the league.

Man U still have a chance of winning the whole thing although they have 6 defeats.

I DON'T LIKE THIS AT ALL!!!!!!!

i saw all the goals in the highlight just now.. and today newcastle marking in the box is awful... but not to take anything away from man u.. they played is brilliant.. and deserved the win... as much as i hate to admit it but i think they will win the league again.. :(

Yes I do think that they are back...

But personally, I hope Leeds wins the premiership... Maybe a distant dream... Or maybe it could happen this season if they continue with their form... :)

among the top 5 teams.. apart from man u the other team i hate the most is leeds... don't like the way they play too rough and their players as well, bad boy all over the pitch... smith, bowyer, mills are all bad boys...

With Man Utd in this form they will be hard to beat, if they don't win the premiership i hope Leeds do for the sake of Viduka and Kewell.

I think ManUtd really outplayed NUFC last night. For once the defence actually looked tight and sharp, we were the ones who won balls, and we were the ones that scored the goals when we needed to.

Now there's one thing that I really like to discuss with you. And that's Beckham's situation. Again, Becks didn't play from the start, instead he was given a 19-year-old debut, by playing the last 5 minutes. I thougt it was absolutely pathetic, a disgrace to Beckham. Humiliation, and you could see it on his face. Now I may not be too objective since I'm a Beckham fan but this is outragous.

Did Beckham play bad against Fulham? No not at all, he was actually pretty good. Then why not play him against Newcastle? Fergie's excuse was that he didn't like to tell Butt, who has been playing very, very well last matches, to sit on the bench again in favour of Beckham. Now I can understand that. Butt has been doing very well indeed. But I can see another solution. How has Veron been playing WHOLE season, BAD, very BAD. And that was the same last night. He looked slow, lazy, he did NOTHING. So why the f*ck then rest Beckham. I can't understand Fergie at times. Now I'm the first to admid that that man has got more football knowlege then me, much more, but this doesn't make sense.

Help?

Well, Shearerm4. U wanted Shearer to score, you got it. But don't forget what i said. NUFC can't get past Man U gates with an away win. About Beckham he hasn't recovered yet. Veron or Scholes are playing better then Beckham at the moment. Hey, I_Harte3, before saying that you should better watch Man U beating Leeds and then say anything. Leeds sucks. They got a lot of bad guys. Not talking about Bower and Woodgate.

haha

They cannot win it. I'll tell you that immediately. Newcastle have a better chance of winning it than them. They have a set of youngsters who have no behaviour and are not mature enough to hold a title. You don't hear any Man Utd players beating down asian guys and getting drunk all the time. The only players worthy of anything in that team is Mark Viduka and Robbie Fowler.
