He changed the ranking system :) that's why, i think it needs 3k to be a legend :p

Linesman??

We made the ranking system less complex and spread the numbers out.

As for our names:

An adminstrator is a "Referee" and a moderator is a "Linesman".

i guess too many users is getting near to the legend status so we need to increse the amount of post required to get to that status... :o

I'm sure many of you won't like it

1-499 = Bench Player
500-2499 = Player (That's the majority, and since most people in the world are just plain players, that's the way)
2500-4999 = Veteran
5000-9999 = Legend
10000+ = ?

Well I am a Linesman (moderator), because of the FIFA Oceania forum, but I would like to become a Referee (administrator), why, here's why:

- I am a trustworthy and respected member
- I browse all forums regularily
- I have a healthy post count
- I have a good repore with the SG Team Members
- I run a site hosted by SG
- I do some things for SG and SG Zine
- I am a referee in real life (a good one I might add)

Before we all had like a new goal not that far away from us.
It was fun to post, sometimes look at our status and think "Man, I'm almost a player". Now it's like "Geez, that is sooo far from my 125 posts". Kinda takes the fun out of it a little bit :(

Well, The True, we were tired of being Adminstrators and Moderators.

So naturally we changed it. Since we are the "officials" of the forum, we decided we'd change it to that.

Moderator - Linesman
Adminstrator - Referee

Mods and Admins were far better.

We have a serious issue with referees over here, so if you ever feel like living in Europe I'm sure you'll be welcomed in Portugal :)
