I already had Vieri in my time and decided to get Ronaldo too. The next time I played against Inter their stikeforce consisted of Hakan Sukur (not too bad) and..............Huygens!!!!

I whipped them 4-0, but the second game I played Huygens scored 2 goals against me.

Man United replaced Beckham with Pirlo (if you know who he is - tell me!).

Andrea Pirlo is an attacking midfielder/striker from Italy who came through the Inter youth system. He popped up in the Inter team a few times in about 1998-99 and was a Joe Cole-type big deal in Italy for a while, because they buy in all the flair players to their league just like the English do, so the national side is always missing a playmaker, and he was the first properly good flashy Italian midfielder/forward since Baggio.

But predictably, he got injured and fell out of favour at Inter, they bought Seedorf, and he lost his place. Meanwhile, Totti matured into a world-class playmaker, Del Piero began playing in the hole sometimes for the national side, and Fiore came through at Udinese, so he never did become an Italy regular.

Last I heard he'd been transferred across town to AC Milan, and I think he's in their squad in PES. It's unlikely that Man U would get him to replace Beckham cos he's not in the same class (when Beckham does leave, it'll be Mendieta or Contra, I'm certain), but he' s not getting into the Milan side either, so don't be surprised if he turns up next season at Spurs or Middlesbrough or Celtic or somewhere. In fact, he'd be a pretty good signing for someone like that, and if you're looking to buy bench players for your ML team, he's probably a bit of a bargain. He was the star of my ISS PE2 Master League Valencia team for a season or so, I remember.
