I am sure this has happened to all of you. You are trying to buy a player that you really like, right? However, this particular player mentality is really high (happy to stay at the club, etc). You make an approach to buy him for a realistic amount of money, however the club will not accept it.

Here comes the part that I HATE. Out of the blue, other teams make offers for that same player, however their offers are like 50% or more below what you offered the club when you got rejected. And guess what? The club does accept their offers...this is B.S. big time.!! This action happens even if you are managing a top club.

that really sucks, I'm at manchestar and I tryed to buy a 16 year old player from inter(his atributes are 80% 20) I offerd 20mil pounds and inter accepted(they didn't accept 19mil) but the board thought that it was unrealistic. and then they sell theplayer to real with 10 mil!!!

Yeah, that's reallly a paint in the neck. I guess the best way to get around that is that if you really like a player have him in your short list. As soon as other teams start to offer bids, go ahead and afford a bid a little bit higher than the other clubs, as well as good wages and bonuses.

Yeah, that happens a lot and is a real pain in the ass:>

especially with players who are in & out of the 1st team...but they still claim theyre a valuable player when you've like bid £8m over his asking price:p
