Manu have been watching that player for longer than middlesboro have, boro found the player after manu did and tried to buy him, but it didn't work, because they wanted to pay in installments and the transfer fee was too small. Manu had already offered them a better deal.

I think what manufan was trying to say is that Real Madrid want to buy allot of already made football stars for their team, so they can have a dream team. Nowone knows who forlan is, knowone has even heard of him, if he is good then Manchester united will make a star out of him, instead of going out to buy a star at his peak like real madrid do.

As for me, I have no problem with wha real madrid do, if they want to build a dream team then they can.

i know about the deal and what boro want to do.. paying installment which was not what indepente wants.. but the think is that he was saying that real getting all the player they want and saying that they are greedy.. and now parra power was saying that man u is GOD and can do what ever they want...

Again. Putting words in my mouth. I NEVER said there should be a limit in the amount of stars in a team. That's just crazy. Someone else in the old thread said that, not me. I'm getting sick of people putting words in my mouth and making other people hate me.

Don't believe me if you want to, but I never said anything of the sort. I was just showing my frustration of seeing Real buying every single good player. I'm sure if someone said that about Man Utd, everyone would agree. I've been watching this forum lately and watching people's attitude towards me. When that Christam guy was flaming me calling me a glory fan, and I defended myself, certain mods at the time told me that this is a forum and people could express their views however they want to and to calm down. I express my opinion, and get I flamed.

Again some of you are missing the point. Yes ManUtd signed Forlan. But they were following this guy longer then Boro did. And manufan's and my criticism concerning Real Madrid was about Real snatching world-class players, the stars, the guys who won't be going trough a learning process anymore. Is this the case with Forlan? Nope, he's just taken another step in his carreer, playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world. Hopefully he will BECOME a start at ManUtd he isn't yet.

I feel a bit sorry for Boro though, ManUtd kind of backed out of the Forlan deal, but when things weren't going really well with DiCanio they decided to join in again. Then Forlan had to make a choice, I can't blame him for joining ManUtd instead of Boro. Maybe ManUtd will now sell Yorke to Boro? Who knows.

I don't think they'll sell Yorke right now, maybe at the end of the season.
