I just found this one on a prowl around the net, Oh dearie me, are they saying that the English workers would actually take time off to watch a World Cup match, yeah too right they would, now then guys to be perfectly honest how will all the football mad fans in your part of the World react to your own National teams who are playing in the World Finals, do you think that they would all turn up for work and maybe record the games and then watch em after they staggered home from there places of boring torture, or would they say, "Stuff it" i am a going to throw a few sickies this week and watch the games Live. After all World Cup matches must get preference over a job ...

English workers are planning to take multiple "sickies" to watch their team play in the World Cup Finals, a survey has revealed.
A Barclaycard survey claims the cost to the economy could amount to £3.2 billion.
A poll of 4,500 England supporters shows that 40% are planning to take time off to watch the national side's games in Japan in June.
Firms are being warned of the potentially huge cost if workers stay away to watch the World Cup with the report claiming the economy could lose £400m per game.
It suggests around £1.2 billion will be lost if England win their three first round games, rising to £3.2 billion if they reach the final.
Barclaycard says many fans will play 'truant' from work because of the early kick-off times, which will see England play games in early to mid-morning.
Nic Gault, Barclaycard sponsorship director, says: "This research demonstrates the passion of football fans in the UK.
"I'm sure many of them would argue that if England win the World Cup, it will all be worth it."
