Grrr - I actually want to hit things after a session of that game :(
It's like the programmers did everything in their power to produce a game full of flaws but with potential for a great game.
The passing system is such a mess. The controls are astonishingly sluggish.
I cannot hit these miraculous long passes to a running player like the CPU can.
Shooting is so unintuitive it's unreal.
It's just so unfair, but the alternative is...?
Only choice is to go back to 2001, but I've played that one to death. Anyone know of any recent football/soccer games? Good ones that is.

If you can afford a PS2, get Pro Evolution Soccer. The best (action)footy game in the world.

if not then just grap a copy of iss pro evolution 2 on the psx 1 its way way way more beatiful(gameplaywise) then any fifa i uninstalled fifa the day i got it
