ok, i see that there are many people talking, saying, complaining, arguing, crapping, or whatever, that they have problems with fifafx. i had this problem also, for quite a while in fact. i will state here some main problems that may prohibit you from using fifafx properly.

first of all, make sure you read the readme CAREFULLY, that is why they are called readme's. some important things to know are that you should have your stadium set to stadium 1 in the options screen. y

you cannot have any .fsh files for jerseys in the main folder. that does not mean 2gk does not work, all you have to do is pack it into your kits.big. and just delete all the .fsh files once you are done from the fifa 2002 main folder.

>for an exhibition match, you need to open fifafx, go to select teams, and select the home and away teams that are playing. once you here the "show time" sound, you can go into fifa 2002 and play with those teams and their files. when you're done playing with those teams, press CLEANUP.

>for season/tournament mode, all you have to do is have fifafx activated, and go into fifa 2002. save BEFORE your match, and then play with those teams. after you are done with those teams, press CLEANUP.

if this does not clarify or help fix your problems with fifafx, then you are most likely doing something wrong. b/c if it works for the majority of the people, and there are some that get it wrong, then it is not the programs fault.

hmm... why not sacrifice just some complications and you'll be able to play with everything.. stadiums, kits, crowds, sounds.....etc.

Just think a little more and you'll be able to do it? And why suffer under EA's terrible format?

It does seem like alot of work.
packing all the kits into the kits.big? how long it that gonna take?
Anyway I wanna know what files are available before i go into all the trouble. I don't really care about the team files available at the site now.

I use FifaFX and my kits (32bits and 2gk) work fine and they are in the main folder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

You don't need to pack anything into the kits.big file. Leaving the .fsh file for the teams in the main folder is fine. God, imagine packing all the 2GK .fsh into the kits.big file. That's gonna be one big kits.big. Each 2GK files average around 300 KB, and the 2GK4S is around 400KB, and I think the 3GK is going to be 500 KB with the extra GK texture. The only thing that must not be in the main folder is the GK kits for the teams. These have to be in the folder of the team.
