I need help with a few questions that are to do with American Sports that have appeared in a quiz I'm in.

1. Whuch American Footballer had the nickname 'The Refrigerator'?

2. Which American Univeristy has the nickname 'The Gators'?
(I'm sceptical that they actually meant university, but I'm not sure)

3. What is the New York Yankees nickname?
(I quite certain of what their nickname is, but I need confirmation)

4. Who won the mens's 1980 Olympic basketball title?
(It's not the USA, i know that)

5. Who did the New York Nicks play in their first match of the 2001/2002 NBA season?

6. Which famous NBA star stared in a movie with Jean Claude Van Damme?

I thought it was the Washington Wizards? It was on in the UK because of Washington-New York (Sept 11th) and MJ's comeback.
